Management Trainee Programme

EGP and its government partner NL EVD International are proud to announce that the EGP management trainee programme will start at 28 November 2011. The trainee programme is open for Romanian employees of EGP members and Romanian students currently following a course in a relevant subject. The management trainee programme focuses on the sectors logistics, supply chain management and port development.
Programme
The total duration of the management trainee programme will be three weeks, from 28 November until 9 December. The first two weeks there will be a formal training. The training will be taught in English at College+/University- level and it will be taught by NEA and STC, both renowned training institutes in the Netherlands.
The programme is divided in two parts:
The first part will focus mainly on the development of general management skills, i.e. project management, entrepreneurship, marketing and sales, etc. For the second part of the training, the group will be split up according to their background/sector and a one week training on the sector will be taught, so either port development, logistics, etc. For a summary of the programme, see the documents on this site. The training is hands-on, practical and will be taught on the basis of a relevant business case. .
After the training the participant will follow a one week internship with the Dutch subsidiary of his or her company. The course will start at 28 November and will be followed by an internship.
Costs
The costs for the training at the college, the tickets and lodging expenses during the stay at the college will be paid for by NL. EVD international. The cost for the lodging and the supervision during the internship will be taken care off by the EGP member where the internship will take place.
Places
You are welcome to let one of your employees participate in the course which are held in Rotterdam and Zoetermeer, for 3 weeks, between November 28 and December 09. If you are Romanian, and a student at a relevant course, you are also invited to participate. The number of places is limited to 10 and therefore we invite you to register at your earliest convenience so that we can reserve a place for you.
